Announcement of a Post-Doctoral position in Data Management for
Biobanks at the University of Vienna, Department of Knowledge and
Business Engineering.

Starting  as soon as possible we are seeking a Post-doctoral
researcher to work on

   Data Management and process support in biobanks

in the context of the Austrian funded project "GATiB -
Genome-Austria Tissue Bank" (GEN-AU).

The ideal candidate holds a PhD degree in Computer Science or
related field, is able to coordinate a small research team, and to
consider both theoretical and practical/implementation aspects in
her/his work. Preferably, s/he has a background in one of the
following fields:

    * Databases and Data Warehouses
    * Web Services/Service-Oriented Architectures
      (including service  discovery, service and process querying,
      service composition)
    * Workflow and Process technologies
    * Bioinformatics

The full-time position (40 hours per week) is for a time period of 2
years (with a possible extension).
